Published Research
The science of organizations and social networks
My peer-reviewed research focuses on how social networks shape work performance, influence, and perceptual accuracy inside real organizations. That body of work — published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Social Networks, and Group & Organization Management — is the foundation for the network analysis I bring to coaching. Local + National
Deeply rooted in Fargo-Moorhead. Globally certified.
My familiarity with these sectors comes from different kinds of exposure. I've worked directly with organizations in agribusiness — including CHS — and my NSF AgTech Engine and Kauffman Foundation research is grounded in the startup and agricultural innovation ecosystem of the upper Midwest. For other sectors, my knowledge comes from in-depth research interviews with dozens of regional leaders and from teaching professionals across these industries in my academic role. I'm transparent about the difference.
I also work nationally and virtually. 70%+ of MGSCC engagements are delivered remotely — the methodology is fully designed for virtual delivery.
